Arnecom is a company installed in
Mexico since 1987 and belongs to a Japanese company named Yazaki Corporation
to manufacture and sell Automotive Wire Harnesses, Specialized Copper
Wire, Components and Metering Equipment for the automotive industry.
Yazaki has research and development facilities in Japan,
Germany and the United States, operating under the concept of "Full
line service supplier". Harnesses and instruments are designed
by the supplier, with the car manufacturer supplying only functional
requirements. Arnecom has manufacturing plants in the mexican states
of Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi, Coahuila and Chiapas,
and it has some plants out of Mexico in Central America (Nicaragua)
and South America (Brasil, Argentina and Uruguay) and
employs over 10,000 associates. Its main customers are: DaimlerChrysler,
Ford, Nissan, Auto Alliance International, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Subaru,
Toyota and General Motors.
Arnecom has achieved a solid competitive position through
a philosophy of Continuous Improvement and Quality Management. The
company has achieved its QS-9000 certification from Underwriters
Laboratories. Other awards from customers include Q1 from Ford Motor
Company; Golden Pentastar from DaimlerChrysler, Maximum Excellence
Award from Nissan Mexicana and Pinnacle Award from Toyota.
